Street Bean Coffee Shop BLOCK PARTY – 5015 Roosevelt Way, next to U District Food Bank. Why do we love Street Bean?? This wonderful coffee shop and roaster is a successful job training program for at-risk youth. Stop by for great coffee, snacks, and community atmosphere!

7/1: U Heights Summer Music Series  – The Winterlings – Indie folk duo

7/7, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Theater Performance at Elizabeth Gregory Home: Dialogues on Dignity — program of excerpted scenes from eSe Teatro’s iconic play by nine time Obie Award-winning playwright Maria Irene, Mud (Barro). Mud is informed by the current crisis on homelessness in Seattle. The scenes will be followed by group discussion, and will be presented for the women of Elizabeth Gregory Home in the University Lutheran Church Sanctuary. All are welcome to join us at this performance on 7/7, 2:30pm, at Elizabeth Gregory Home, 1604 NE 50th St, Seattle.

7/8: U Heights Summer Music Series  – Reina Mytique – R&B, Jazz and Soul

7/12, noon-1:30pm.
Don’t miss this…. Interfaith Taskforce on Homelessness (ITFH) offers discussion of Opioid crisis response. Guests will be: UW Professor Caleb Banta-Green, one of the leads in Opioid crisis response,.. and then, a member of the REACH (Evergreen Treatment) team — to share their knowledge of mental health issues among the unsheltered homeless. Followed by Q&A. 7/12, noon-1:30, at Univ Congregational Church, in the chapel.

8/2, U-District Conversation on Homelessness, 9:30-11a, University Lutheran, 50th & 16th St NE, Seattle

Country Doctor Free Teen Clinic – For the medical and social needs of street involved youths, ages 13-23. Location: 500 19th Ave. E.

Friday Feast is an all-ages meal provided by ROOTS every Friday between 5:30 and 7:00pm. Open to anyone in the community who would like to attend. 1415 NE 43rd St.

Sunday Community Dinner at Blessed Sacrament Church parish hall, 5050 8th Ave NE, corner of 53rd St
Every Sunday 12:00pm -2pm. Services include delicious hot meal, toiletries supply, monthly outreach from U District Street Medicine. St Vincent de Paul volunteers are on hand to provide assistance to people in need.
